This ensures optimal animal welfare, including by making the short transport of animals for slaughter as stress-free as possible.
With a view to securing the raw material base, for quality control and for the continuous and balanced utilisation of our capacities, we primarily arrange the procurement of our slaughter animals via so-called delivery and purchase contracts.
The qualified care of the delivered animals for slaughter, the stunning and slaughter of which takes place under expert supervision with the latest technologies, ensures the highest level of animal welfare.
For beef and pork, a complete certificate of origin guarantees consumer safety. This and the fulfilment of the highest quality standards entitle us not only to use the QS certification mark, but also to participate in regional programmes "tested quality from Bavaria" and "protected geographical indication - PGI", as well as to use the Baden-Württemberg quality mark.
